Diamond Beach the Ice Beach 


Diamond Beach is placed 6 hours far iceland's capital, but is totally worth come to see these natural wonderfulls placed near the lokursarlon glacier lagoon. This lagoon in silled with big ice chunks that hace broken free from Breiðamerkurjökull, who is the largest icecap in Europe, people also even take a boat tour on the lagoon. 


Why is this place called Diamond Beach?


The icebergs which are floating in the lagoon goes in a color range from blue to brght white, passing throw  briliant turquoise shades. they slowly melt and make their own way to finish on the ocean, before stop in the Atlantic Ocean, the floating icebergs, often stops at an amazing black beach, this black color becomes from the icebergs formation and gives the nickname of "Diamond Beach" to this unique beach in the whole world.

At Kirkjubæjarklaustur: 

  1. Systrakaffi: is the most popular café, restaurant and bar of the zone. Is named by the famous Sister Klaustur, the nuns of Kirkjuabejarkalustur offers to the visitors a wide of the local gastronomy.
